'til it falls

'til it falls is a short, 13-page TTRPG about getting together with a group of people to create an alternate way of living together. The game guides you through defining a community by the way they live and interact with each other, and then delving into creating the groups and people that live within it. 

As you play, you are at odds with a block tower - for every addition you make to your community, you remove an indeterminate amount of blocks. Once it falls, the community doesn't necessarily fail; it just changes. 

For this game, one six sided die and a block tower is needed. Alternate rules are provided to play without these.

Inspiration was primarily drawn from other TTRPGs such as i'm sorry did you say street magic, Seedling, and This Game Takes Place in Your Hometown. Literature inspiration that really got me thinking about this included the works of Ursula K. LeGuin, Darko Suvin, and José Esteban Muñoz.
